Kashan medallion carpet

Price on request

312 × 218 cm · 10′3″ × 7′2″

The classical Kashan formula — medallion, pendants, cornerpieces, scrolling vinery — executed in an unusually gentle camel-and-madder palette that lifts it out of the familiar red-blue register.

Mid-sixties workshop weaving in essentially unworn condition; the lambswool still has its original bloom. A dependable, formal, deeply comfortable carpet.

Each piece is one of one, acquired personally on your behalf. Online acquisitions open with the release of our inaugural collection; enquiries are welcomed now. Fully insured delivery within the United Kingdom and Europe.
