A signed Qom in pure silk, knotted at a density that lets the medallion carry jewellery-grade detail. The lapis ground shifts between blue and violet as the pile direction turns against the light — the particular theatre of fine silk that wool cannot reproduce.
Pieces of this order are woven over years, not months, and are usually bought to be kept. Suitable for the floor of a gentle room, a wall, or a collection drawer.
